- My business is really not something that I want to be doing my whole life. I see myself selling the business once it starts turning enough profit. I would use the money that I make in the sale to start a new business in a field that I am more interested in.
- I have selected this exit strategy because I think that it will help me the most. I think that having the extra money to start something that I am really interested in would be great.
- My exit strategy has influenced other decisions within my concept a little bit. Because I plan on leaving, I did not give myself too important of a role. I am more focused on hiring the right people that can do the job better in the long run than I could. It has influenced my want for growth with this company because the bigger the business the more it will sell for in the end.

My Exit Strategy

Hi A.J.
ReplyDeleteI actually thought the same thing towards my concept. I think it is important to find something you truly do want to do for your whole life because that is true success. Also, I agree with how you want to grow your business a little more before selling it off, it is a critical decision on whether you want to invest more money in growing it or immediately sell it.
I like your exit strategy! You don't have to stick with your first venture and you should use it to grow! There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. You are also young and want to test the waters to find what you are passionate about. It's crazy to think about us being stuck in the same business for the rest of our lives.
ReplyDeleteYour exit strategy is very similar to mine. I have other ideas for what I want to do for my career. Starting a business would be great to have the experience and to help pay for future education or expenses, but it is not what my life long goal is. I also did not give my self to big of a role. Some people have a knack for coming up with innovative ideas and they love it. This class definitely teaches you that.
